Great fun to play - I've dug the SNES out for my children to play on -
Can't remember how to upgrade soem of the items though !

Princess Zelda has been kidnapped by the evil Gannon, and it's up to a boy in green to save her. Why does that sound so familiar?
A Link to the Past perfected the overhead adventure formula. The world map here is huge, and features a mirror "dark world" version, doubling the size of the world. Dungeons dot the landscape, holding weapons and items you'll need to advance. Villagers will give you vital information and aid your quest above ground.
The variety of items such as the simple lamp, sword upgrades, and the heroic "hookshot" grappling hook add complexity and depth to the gameplay, and enrich the puzzle aspect of the game. Mastering the nuances of each is both fun and challenging.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past has become one of the highest rated, highest selling, and most engrossing games of all time. Its epic story, moving music, and heroic adventure make it a time tested classic.
