Battletoads in Battlemaniacs is another quality beat-em-up in the Battletoads series from British developer Rare. Zitz, Rash and Pimple are in Tibet to see a virtual reality machine, known as Psicone Gamescape, revealed for the first time. Unfortunately everything doesn't go to plan and a monster jumps out of the gameworld, grabs Psicone CEO's daughter and Zitz, and then jumps back into the Gamescape.
Of course it goes without saying that Rash and Pimple follow them in and the game begins.
<em>Battletoads in Battlemaniacs</em> is a fighting game similar in style to Final Fight and Streets Of Rage, where you take on usually 2 or 3 weaker enemies at any one time. You can pick up power ups and weapons along the way.
Like many games of this genre, 2 friends can team up and fight together in the co-op mode.
