Based on the hit movie, Batman Returns for the SNES puts you in the shoes of the caped crusader once again. This time you must save Gotham City from The Penguin and his army of missle-packing Penguin Commandos who are trying to take over this sprawling metropolis. The Penguin is also assisted by the rather bizarre "Red Triangle Circus Gang".
The Police Chief puts out a desperate SOS call. It's then up to you as Batman to stop these super vilains in their tracks. Guide Batman through a range of highly detailed areas from dark alleys to rooftops, in reconstructed scenes from the movie. You can control everything from the hand to hand combat, unforgiving interrogations of your enemies, to using the Batcave computer to analyse clues and record evidence, and review your enemies tactics and abilities. You can even choose which weapons and gadgets you load up your utility belt with.
