This is the official licensed game of the movie released the same year. Like the film, the game features The Ridler and Two Face as the criminal masterminds, as well as all the hired goons that always tag along with them.
Gameplay is an interesting mix of side-scrolling platform action and the more traditional fighting game, similar in style to Street Fighter and other fighters where you face each enemy one at a time.
You have a range of gadgets typical of the Batman movies, as well as the usual punches, kicks, and special moves you would expect to see in a fighting game.
All of the games graphics are pre-rendered 3D images of original actors and objects and in this respect is similar to Donkey Kong Country and other games that use this technique.
