Monster seed, the most immersive RPG ever by MS/MHfanking (30 June 2007) 
This game, one of those few-known, few-own games, one that in my (and trus me, my brother's) opinion is the greatest tactical RPG ever made, it has quite a great idea. You go on a quest as (name alterable) Daniel, a monster tamer type guy. Your mission is simple: go and stop the evil tamer you fight (or actually get humiliatingly PWNED by) at the beginning. To aqcuire better and more powerful monsters is the goal there are a few ways to do this: you can directly purchase a creature at the shop, use one of the seeds you find after most encounters to hatch one and i believe there is also a way to capture un-owned ones. The techniques and skills range from: a magic using duck with a penchant for cowardice, a demonic looking creature with wrestling moves and a sorcery-bound fire creature. if you like tactical RPGs and also enjoy a large amount of creatures to fight for you GET THIS GAME.
